Click that blog button! Check that shit out! So I was in Forbidden Planet the other day and they have this huge rack of indie comics. The quality definitely ranges from practically professional production quality to... well, a bunch of pages stapled together. And I thought, "Fuck, I can staple! I can staple as good as any... stapler user of moderate skill! I should do one of these!" You know, to kind of... build my cred. There are plenty of vacuous, trend-adherent pretty lady folk who love indie cred. Indie! "See?" I point to a roughly stapled packet of PolkOuts, "That's me saying fuck you to the man... to the industry... the Pope, whatever." And they'll be impressed and you'll hear them whisper to one another, "He's like that Juno lady of webcomics!" And then the money comes. Point is, I thought the best thing to do would be to make something of a best of. Pick ten or so comics, some rants, and put a little something together to sell for two bucks a pop. It'll be there, people can flip through it, maybe a couple'd even buy the damn thing. Good plan, right? So which comics should make the cut? Email me your opinions!
